The spirit of the fragrance
Bergamotto di Calabria contient la précieuse matière première «bergamote éponge ». L'extraction est toujours effectuée manuellement. Le fruit est d'abord coupé en deux et la pulpe est retirée manuellement à l'aide d'un couteau incurvé. Ensuite, la peau est comprimée sur une éponge naturelle dans un mouvement circulaire pour recueillir l'essence. L'essence accumulée est la plus délicate et la plus complexe; elle ressemble à une note fruitée et florale de jasmin.
